 BIOGRAPHY PRINCIPAL CONSULTANTS DR. RAMON S.J. DWARKASING LL.M Dwarkasing & Partners is founded and led by Dr. Ramon S.J. Dwarkasing LL.M., an international consultant with a PhD in Transfer Pricing. Dr. Dwarkasing is an Associate Professor in Transfer Pricing at Maastricht University in the Netherlands, Europe. He holds an LL.M. in international tax law from the International Tax Center Leiden, the Netherlands, and a master of tax law from Tilburg University, the Netherlands. He holds a doctorate in tax law and transfer pricing from Tilburg University, the Netherlands. Dr. Dwarkasing wrote a dissertation (PhD) titled "Associated Enterprises - A Concept Essential for the Application of the Arm's Length Principle and Transfer Pricing" at Tilburg University, the Netherlands. This book received an honourable mentioning by the International Fiscal Association during the Mitchell B. Carroll Award and is one of the first comprehensive studies on the concept of association (one of the fundaments of transfer pricing) under Article 9 OECD Model Tax Convention. Dr. Dwarkasing has been written various articles in the field of international taxation. Dr. Dwarkasing is a frequent speaker on international conferences and organizes regularly international high-end conferences on tax policy and transfer pricing. He is an academic researcher on international taxation and transfer pricing, with a particular focus on tax policy and transfer pricing for least-developed and developing economies, and economies in transition. He is a special advisor on transfer pricing and fiscal issues and training for governments of developing and emerging countries, non-governmental organisations and (state-owned) multinationals. Dr. Dwarkasing assists also various tax law firms in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America in specific tax cases.
